Taking the advice that was given from Becoming a Better Photographer, I decided to utilize the techniques of paying attention the contrast, altering the perspective, and paying attention to my background. In this photo, I took one of my model cars from the movie The Fast and the Furious and placed it in front of my Hostas in my front yard. I decided to take a photo of this scene because the Toyota Supra is a nice bright orange. I really wanted to put it in front of a background that was a solid color so it wouldn’t take the attention away from the car and the green really allowed the orange to have its moment. I then changed my perspective by not only putting my phone in horizontal view, but also by placing my phone almost ground level so it gave the impression that the car was “real”. Also, the background gave it almost a tropical feeling to it which made the image feel “warm” to me.
